We are so happy to announce that our recent Game Week raised £332.32 for Hampshire Medical Fund!
The special 3-course menu was a feast of wild game sourced by our local gamekeeper and included Rabbit Loin wrapped in Parma Ham served with Butternut Squash, Redcurrants, Mushroom, Beetroot and Corianderand Pheasant Ballotine served with Buttered Kale, Boulangère Potatoes, Cranberry Gel and a Red Wine Jus.
The money raised will go towards buying cutting-edge medical equipment for Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover hospitals.
Chef patron, Gordon Stott, says, “British Game Week gave us a brilliant opportunity to share our passion for wild, locally sourced produce. Customers loved trying something new and the whole week was a fantastic celebration of what makes British pub food so exciting.
“We’re delighted to have raised money for the crucial support Hampshire Medical Group provide for our region. Thanks to all our customers for getting involved and helping us to raise much-needed funds.”
